Laurentide was founded by three clay enthusiasts who currently live in Rochester, NY. Western New York is rich with ceramic tradition, boasts excellent BFA and MFA programs in Ceramic Arts at our regional universities and a strong community of makers. Our commitment behind building this studio is to honor that tradition and make a home for artists to develop their craft and give back to the community through classes, workshops and gallery exhibitions.
