Existential answers aside, Laurentide was founded by three clay nerds who thought they could run a business. Western New York is rich with ceramic tradition, boasts excellent BFA and MFA programs in Ceramic Arts at our regional universities and a strong community of makers. Our commitment behind building this studio is to honor that tradition and make a home for artists to develop their craft and give back to the community through classes, workshops and gallery exhibitions.
